Now our task really becomes hard and tedious.

Now that the 2008 elections are over we (the believers in Freedom, Liberty, and the Constitution) have our work cut out for us. We know that it didn't matter if McCain or Obama won. So the outcome of the presidential election should not be disheartening to us. After Ron Paul lost the nomination for the Republican ticket we knew the outcome didn't matter. Now we must focus on 2010. This is where we must stay on top of our political game and stay active and informed on what is really happening in OUR government. This is where we must continue to fight and continue to inform all those we can of what a Constitutional government is.

We know our odds. We know what faces us. Let us not lose sight of our goal, restoration of our Constitutional Republic. Our very lives depend on continuing the Revloution no matter what the odds or how bleak things may seem.

Dig your heels in. The real and hard work now begins.

"but let it not be said that we did nothing." - Ron Paul

Third party voting is a wasted vote.

That's what I hear all the time when talking about the 2008 election and politics with people. My response is always the same. "Not voting my conscience and who I believe would be best to be president of this great country would be a wasted vote." I then go on to explain that unfortunately most people are stuck in the two party system because of many reasons.

1.They "don't have the time" to research third party candidates because they are so busy with all the other things going on in their lives.

2. They are so stuck in the brainwashing system that is the mainstream media (MSM), that they don't believe a third party candidate could win. So they bite the hook when they are told that these are the two candidates they have to vote for.

3. They think there are REAL differences between the two parties and therefore vote for the "lesser of two evils". Which in my opinion is a true wasted vote.

4. "I'm not happy with either candidate so I'm just not going to vote."

These are four main things that keep people under the control of the propaganda machine that tells them they have to vote either republican or democrat, or as we free thinking third party voters like to call them "republicrats". There are additional reasons but I believe these are the top four and these are the ones I'm going to address.

1.They "don't have the time" to research third party candidates because they are so busy with all the other things going on in their lives.

I understand that many people, including myself, are very busy and don't have much time to just stop, sit down and relax. However it is our duty as the government to stay on top of what's going on with our elected officials and tell them when we are unhappy with their actions. If we don't take the time to participate in our government then those same officials will continue to do what they are doing. They may think that because none or few of their constituents are voicing their opinions with them that they are on the right track and their constituency approve. Or they may not really care, they are just going to wright their own agenda and constituency be damned (these are the ones that must be voted out). If our elected officials don't listen then they loose their job next election even if it means we have to vote for a third party candidate to truly represent our will.

Don't believe the MSM, period. If the MSM says it's so always assume it's not. With most people having some form of internet access it's easier now than ever to just take a few minutes a day and sit down to do some research on what third party candidates are out there, what bills are being pushed in Congress and which are Constitutional and which are not. There are tons of organizations whose sole purpose is to do the research for you and let you know when unconstitutional bills are being proposed. These organizations do this for a living. Join one or more, sign up for their email alerts, use their pre-written letters. It's easier now than ever to be active in YOUR government. Flip through CSPAN channels just to see what's going on. CSPAN regularly airs congressional voting as it happens.

2. They are so stuck in the brainwashing system that is the mainstream media (MSM), that they don't believe a third party candidate could win. So they bite the hook when they are told that these are the two candidates they have to vote for.

The MSM is controlled by an elite few who have their own political agenda. They want you to stay in the two party system. They want you to think that the third party candidates are "kooks" or "fringe" candidates that have no chance of winning. Now if the majority of American people stopped listening to this propaganda and voted for who they believe is the best candidate even if it meant voting third party just imagine the TRUE CHANGE there would be in politics. But apparently most people don't want to think for themselves and take the time to look at alternative media for information. Just five minutes spent a day researching on the internet could really open ones eyes in no time.

3. They think there are REAL differences between the two parties and therefore vote for the "lesser of two evils". Which in my opinion is a true wasted vote.

Many people don't seem to understand that there is no real difference between the republican party and the democrat party anymore. Sure they may spout off at the mouth how the other side is going about things the wrong way but that's where their differences stop. Their agenda is the same and that is money, power, control, and staying in office. They may have different ways they would spend the money but you can be sure it would be used to create even more big government and involve our military in "humanitarian missions" around the world, even if the "humanitarian missions" are different. They will still be getting the U.S.A. involved in un-Constitutional wars and foreign interventions. Both Bush's did it and Clinton Did it! And, they will say anything to make you believe they are the best choice but before voting for any candidate you should look at their voting record(if they were in Congress) or look at the bills and policies they supported while a governor, mayor, whatever. Compare those things to what they are saying and make an educated decision from there.

So whenever a person is voting for a perceived "lesser of two evils" they are still voting for evil. And that is a wasted vote.

4. "I'm not happy with either candidate so I'm just not going to vote."

People who are not happy with either candidate and just aren't going to vote are really wasting their vote because they are not voting at all. If you are not going to vote for the mainstream candidates because you don't like either of them then WHY NOT vote for a third party that you may feel could do a better job even if you don't believe they can win, you're not going to vote anyway!

Come on people, it's time to stand up and take our country back. Read the Constitution and Bill of Rights often and defend the principles therein by electing representatives and leaders that will not just say they will uphold the Constitution but ones that will actually do it no matter how unpopular it may seem. Join an organization involved in the fight to restore our Constitutional limited government Republic back to it's former glory. Contact your elected officials and let them know that votes against the Constitution and Bill of Rights is unacceptable and will be remembered come election time. Now is OUR TIME, We The PEOPLE must take action now or we will surely loose our freedoms and Liberty in just a few short years.

You can visit my web site, Constitution Revolution , to find info, organizations, contact Congress, and more. I also have a full time job and a family and home so updating and maintaining my site is a challenge but I do it along with other activism because I Love The United States of America and I want my daughter to have the freedom and liberty that she deserves. Any one with children can't just go on ignoring the direction our country has taken. Get informed, get active, and if you have to, waste your vote and vote third party!
